Applying for jobs
online is easy. Where your resourcefulness comes into play is in your follow-up
approach as you figure out the right person to contact, their phone number,
what to say to them, and how you thank them for their time. Putting these
skills into action showcases the strengths that you can bring to their company.
Right
before jumping on stage remind yourself on how you would like to perform by
writing down a list. Would you like to be funny, high energy and seen as an
expert in the field? Also, jot down the areas that you are trying to improve on
from previous speeches such as swinging your arms, saying um a lot and making
eye contact. Use this list as you reflect on your performance and for ideas on
how to further improve next time.

Refocus your energy
on one task. When you are tired your mind may drift to several tasks that will
have little to no impact. If tiredness persists then do a quick workout, go for
a walk, stand up while working, drink cold water, and make sure that you have
fueled your body with healthy food.

Saying Yes to a
request for your time is easier than it is to say No. Say Yes when you truly
believe that your time investment will move your company in the direction that
you have set out for it.
